Giselle Vazquez - Ramirez is a freelance director and producer based in Los Angeles, CA. She specializes in compelling and engaging storytelling that reaches a viral audience.

She holds a primary position as a video acquisitions producer for BuzzFeed, a premier digital media company that delivers news and entertainment content to a global audience. 

​

Previously, Giselle worked as an assistant to multiple production companies (MacLaren Entertainment, Black Lamb, Slambook Inc, Netflix) where she learned the ins and outs of studio development, funding, production, post production, and distribution. 

​

During that time, she was also freelancing for various independent artists. In 2021, her sci-fi-themed Latin Pop music video aired on MTV's cable platform. The unknown artists reached an audience of over fifty thousand people while also earning over eleven thousand digital views on Vevo.

 

Giselle is also an independent filmmaker and has worked as a "one man band" videographer. She spent 6 months shooting the "UNT BETTER THINGS" documentary, where she gained experience with international production and indie filmmaking.
